Do I Move House, Or Buy a Conservatory for That Extra Space?
For many years I have been looking at moving, but the thought of packing up the whole house fills me with dread.
It’s not like we need extra room all the time. The kids are getting older now so we don’t need the room for all their toys as the computer consoles have taken over. However, when all the family come to our house for any sort of do, we could really do with an extra living room.
As the family grow up, it’s not just immediate family who pop round. My nieces and nephews all have partners, so all in all we are upto about 30 now for family gatherings.
Much as I love the family, squeezing us all into the dining room is getting absolutely ridiculous. We are packed in like sardines and if you happen to be in the corner and you need to go to the loo, it is virtually impossible.
I think the easiest solution to my problem is to get a conservatory.
Now as I live in the Surrey area, I thought the internet would be a great place to start my search. I put in a search for Edwardian Conservatories Surrey, Victorian Conservatories Surrey and even Surrey Conservatories.
I was absolutely amazed by how many different companies there are now on the internet. Where do you start and how do you ensure you choose the right company.
I think this conservatory lark is going to be bigger than I thought. It’s going to take quite a bit of research because I know it’s not a huge amount of money, it is money that needs to be spent prudently. There are some stunning designs on the market, so I don’t really think design alone is going to be the deciding feature.A few of the websites I searched on had feedback sections from previous customers and I think this is a great idea.
Something I definitely do know is that I am going to have to pull my finger out and decide because our next big family do is only a few months away and I want everything sorted out by then.
